TWICE Chaeyoung’s tattoos are pretty famous in the kpop world because they stand out. First, she is one of the only female idols to have tattoos. But most importantly, netizens are always impressed because she does not only have one or two tattoos. Chaeyoung has over 10 tattoos and they are all beautiful and unique.

TWICE Chaeyoung's Tattoos
The lip tattoo
Chaeyoung was first spotted with the lip tattoo during the “TWICELIGHTS” tour. Some fans call it the strawberry lip tattoo. The lips are neon magenta with a hint of apricot. Those are also TWICE’s official colors. This would suggest that the lips may have a meaning related to the group or the fans.
The carrot, cherry tomatoes, and heart tattoos
Chaeyoung was first seen with all three tattooes at Incheon Airport on August 16th, 2019. All the members group were on their way to Malaysia for a concert. Fans believe that every tattoo seen that day is linked to one of the other members.

She has a tattoo of four carrots lined up in a row on her left forearm. Some believe that the carrot tattoo is about Nayeon possibly because she has a rabbit doll named ‘Kkaengi’.
Chaeyoung also revealed a tatto of two small tomatoes on her left arm. Others believe that the cherry tomato tattoo is about Mina because she absolutely loves ketchup.

And finally, fans were also able to spot the tattoo of a heart pierced by an arrow behind her ear. They believe that the heart tattoo is about Sana because she was the only one involved in writing “Shot thru the heart”
The Quarter rest tattoo
Right above the carrot tattoo, Chaeyoung has a tattoo of a quarter rest, a music symbol. No one knows the meaning behind this.
The constellation tattoos
Also next to the carrot tattoos but closer to her wrist, she has a tattoo of a constellation of stars. It is hard to tell if they represent a specific constellation but they are beautiful and colorful.

The fish tattoo
Chaeyoung was seen with the fish tattoo at a showcase on September 23, 2019. Even though we do not know the meaning of the tattoo, we know that she designed it herself.
The birdcage tattoo
This tattoo was seen by fans on January 4th, 2020 during Golden Music Awards. It is a birdcage. No one knows the meaning of this tattoo.
The butterfly tattoo
Chaeyoung’s butterfly tattoo was first spotted at the Jeju International Airport on April 20, 2020.
Flower tattoos
Chaeyoung has a series of colorful flower tattoos on her index finger, middle finger, and ring ringer. We are not sure when fans first noticed those tattoos.
The Plant tattoo
Chaeyoung is definitely an earth lover. She not only has tattoos of vegetables, animals, and flowers. She also has a tattoo of a plant on her right arm. Fans first noticed it when she was standing outside of KBS on June 12th, 2020.

The lower back tattoo
No one really knows exactly what Chaeyoung’s lower back tattoo look like. Fans have gotten a chance to see glimpses of it several time rehearsals or when she wears low cut clothing. However, it appears to be quite large and detailed.
